Level II: ADVANCED ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND

- Quick scan of the abdominal cavity
- Liver protocol
- Urinary bladder protocol
- Kidneys and adrenal glands
- Pancreas
- Gastrointestinal system
- Genital system
– A minimum of 6-8 hrs a month is recommended.
– Attendants should have had completed basic ultrasound training classes or have some knowledge in basic sonography. |
ADVANCED ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
|
- ositioning (R & L parasternal)
- LAX (long axis images)
- SAX (short axis images)
- m-mode measurements (LV, Ao/LA ratio, MV)
- Cardiac function
- Doppler (pulse wave, continuous wave, color flow Doppler)
– A minimum of 6-8 hrs a month is recommended.
– Excellent course for veterinarians and technicians who have completed basic ultrasound training classes; and wish to learn more about echocardiography. |
